This exotic Kingwood Walking cane is fit for a king! The flawless finish and tight grain are just a few of the grand qualities of this exotic, highly sought after wood. This particular wood is used almost exclusively for inlays on very fine furniture.  The heartwood color is brownish-purple with many fine darker stripes with occasional irregular swirls. The fine-grained wood looks as though it perfectly outlines the contours of the handle. All though this is just an illusion, it does appear this wood was grown specifically to be made for each cane it was carved into!

The derby handle and shaft of this walking cane are joined together by an elegant hand crafted pewter collar. This jeweler designed pewter collar has an intricate rose and leaf design etched inside giving it a more regal appearance.
