"Padauk" wood is reddish-orange in color.  It is grown in Central and West Africa.  The wood is a very rich grain and has a very distinctive and unique color.  The grain in the wood provides excellent contrast to the rich color of the cane, and will make you truly appreciate the natural wood grain finish.The wood grain is subtle but can be seen throughout the shaft and derby handle. This cane would be a gorgeous addition to any walking cane collection or anyone that wants a unique cane for their daily use.
